A couple of weekends ago, my roommate Saranie and I, with the help of my wonderful dad, tackled the massive invasion of IVY. After a full day of brutal work, with only the aid of a rake and some shovels, we managed to tear into it pretty good. Saranie planted a bed with some melons, peppers and cucumbers. Also I made a planter box to house the alpine strawberries I grew from seed. They have taken FOREVER! I planted them in January and they are only a couple inches tall. I found this table on the street near my house and thought it would be perfect to plant something in.
